Shows at Promenade

Cycle 60 miles from Manchester to South Promenade Blackpool on Sunday, 14th July. Take part in this fun and friendly ride and choose to raise vital funds for The Christie charity. The ride is fully supported by a signed route, medics, marshals, cycle mechanics, and pick-up vehicles.

The brightest night run ever. Experience the world famous Blackpool Illuminations on a traffic free promenade. Take in the Golden Mile and all the sights and sounds the amazing light show has to offer. 10K or 5K run.

Ride at any point along the promenade from Starr Gate at South Shore to Red Bank Road in Bispham. You can ride as much or as little of the route as you are able and enjoy the Blackpool Illuminations at your own pace.

Every year, since 1934, a big show is organised on the promenade to celebrate the switch on of the Illuminations. The name of the celebrity who will switch on the illuminations has not been announced yet.
