The Tower Circus is positioned at the base of the Blackpool tower, between its four legs. The circus first opened to the public on 14 May 1894 and has not missed a season since. The Tower Circus is one of four left in the world that can lower the ring into a pool of water.
The Blackpool Tower Circus returns with a fantastic array of adventurous acts from all around the word delivering incredible death-defying stunts teamed with belly laughs a plenty from legendary clowns Mooky and Mr Boo.
The show will not disappoint as it brings even more astonishing jaw-dropping stunts and comedy capers in what can only be described as the must-see show of the season. Mooky and Mr.Boo deliver belly-laughs aplenty with their hilarious slapstick antics teamed with edge of your seat death defying stunts from top class acts all over the world.

This exhibition allows you to discover how the Vikings working over 1,000 years ago turned simple materials into complex objects.

In this exhibition, you can see how Vikings made everything they needed from natural materials. Antler, bone and horn could be turned into combs, knife handles and jewellery. Wood was vital for everything from houses and furniture to spoons and bowls. Leather from animal hides made shoes, belts and scabbards. Smiths turned ores into iron, lead and copper. Potters made clay into pottery. Dyed and woven wool was transformed into colourful cloth.

Journey through time and discover the lesser-known side of the Vikings. Explore the items they created from materials such as bone, antler and metal, and experience their everyday life with our replica house interior and market stalls.
